in our case, Infosec is helping us with our internal culture about information security, we train our employees in the last threats and also we are able to run phishing simulations which help us to confirm the skills of our employees. we also get very usable reports for our managers and scores of the learners from their trainings.
  • Spanish content
  • phishing simulation
  • reporting
  • dynamic groups creation
  • more topic series
  • more phishing templates
  • more options for training campaings
for companies looking to meet international requirements regarding information security, like standards controls and things like that for example, ISO27001, NIST, PCI, and others. also for reducing the risk about bad employees behaviors, thanks to Infosec our employees keep reporting suspicious emails, and things they don't understand, so we are sure they always aware about security risk.

Infosec IQ provides our company with a Cybersecurity Program for our entire staff. The program consists of periodic education courses for our end-user. It also includes quarterly email phishing campaigns. From these campaigns, we are able to gather reports on strengths and weaknesses of our user's education in certain areas of internet security.
  • Informative Education Videos
  • Great Questions after Videos
  • Detailed Reports on Phishing Campaigns
  • Implementation of Campaigns
  • Increase Choices of Education Courses
  • Better Navigation of User Site
With the amount of junk/spam emails, Infosec IQ is will suited with is phishing and training videos. It provides a well-rounded choice of material we can provide to our end-users.

There have been scenarios where the phishing button does not work, and IT has to correct the issue. We have also had issues where a user has completed the training, but the IQ systems still show that they have not completed the training.

We use it for phishing training and security training. I have used competitors before I got here and so far I like this product the best. Better support, better setup, easier to use, and better quality phishing campaigns. It helps us train our end users for phishing and security related events to lower our risk on a security breach. We have a representative setup a call cadence with us so they can hop on a call, answer questions, and check our configuration.
  • quality phishing campaigns
  • quality training videos
  • great support
  • instructions for different email filter whitelisting is lacking details
Its well suited for all organizations in my opinion. You dont' really understand how little training end users have on security training such as phishign emails until you implement this. We went from a 40% open rate to under 10%. Its not perfect but it definately lowers our risk.

We use InfoSec to educate and evaluate our employees when it comes to handling phishing. We run monthly phishing campaigns with different templates, aimed at different departments. We also do so to adhere to some of our different client's requirements. With the tool we can also have employee's complete follow-up testing in the event they are phished to further educate them on what to look for.
  • Educate employees
  • Teach them cyber security best practices
  • Make them weary of clicking suspicious links
  • Can be a bit confusing to navigate until you get used to it
A scenario where InfoSec is well-suited is when you notice more and more spam and/or phishing emails getting by spam filters. Aside from refining these filters to catch more, it is always a good idea to educate users on what to look for to determine what is potentially a phishing email.

We leverage InfosecIQ for our comprehensive onboarding and recurrent training programs, ensuring that our team members are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to combat cybersecurity threats effectively. Additionally, InfosecIQ serves as a valuable tool for conducting simulated phishing campaigns, allowing us to proactively identify vulnerabilities and reinforce our employees' awareness of phishing attempts. By integrating InfosecIQ into our training and assessment initiatives, we maintain a proactive and robust cybersecurity posture.
  • Plenty of detailed templates for simulated phishing
  • SSO
  • Plenty of amusing templates for creating trainings
  • Good support
  • Good value for money
  • The user interface can occasionally present challenges when it comes to orientation and ease of use
Infosec IQ stands out as an excellent solution for conducting recurrent trainings and running simulated phishing campaigns. The platform not only offers robust features but also provides prompt and reliable support to its users. This level of assistance ensures a smooth experience and helps address any questions or concerns that may arise during training or campaign execution. One notable advantage of Infosec IQ is its support for Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality. This feature enables users to access the platform seamlessly using their existing credentials, eliminating the need for separate login information. By integrating with an organization's existing authentication system, Infosec IQ simplifies user management and enhances security by leveraging established access controls. In summary, the strengths of Infosec IQ include its comprehensive training and simulated phishing capabilities, excellent support services, and the convenience of SSO integration. These features contribute to a more efficient and effective training experience, allowing organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses while minimizing administrative burdens.

Sciperio uses Infosec IQ in our environment as our monthly security training for DoD. Our managed service provider (MSP) supplies us with the licenses and curriculum and our employees are subject to the lessons that are provided. Since we are Defense contractors, we need to meet requirements for CMMC/NIST compliance - and Infosec IQ satisfies the requirement for training.
  • Security Training
  • Security Awareness
  • Information Security
  • Provide information in an easy to understand format
  • I believe the training modules are corny and could use some more attention.
  • The narration can be a little monotone.
  • The backend dashboard could be a tad more intuitive.
For a company or organization that doesn't have an in-house training group devoted to the subject matter - this is a very complete and affordable solution. Since most trainings are no more than 20 minutes a month, it keeps user participation higher than having to do a multi-hour course once or twice a year.

We were in dire need of a tool to help educate our staff on cybersafe behaviors and the dangers of phishing. This has enabled us to deploy phishing simulations that are followed up with relevant and timely professional development. Not only does this help to meet our minimum insurance requirements, but it also exceeded our expectations with its user friendly and gamified feel.
  • Timely professional development
  • Phishing simulations
  • Oversight/data of potential staff needs
  • Not sure at this time
We have really found value in how InfoSec IQ provides data feedback on potential professional development needs, as well as the timely and automated nature of what is provided to staff upon falling prey to phishing simulations. We really appreciate the user friendliness that is afforded to our staff as most are still in their infancy of identifying cyber threats.

Internal use for Security Awareness and phishing campaigns, so ensure staff are kept informed of current security standards. Historically staff have used incorrect guidance which results in lower security success.

Our company had no cybersecurity awareness training program, and after investigating options and comparing other products, we decided to implement Infosec Institute IQ. We use it to prove brief monthly training for all employees on various cybersecurity topics. Additionally, we use it for a more thorough annual training that all employees must complete. The last thing that we use it for it so publish our company's mandatory security and acceptable use policy (which is tracked/accepted when employees log in to use the training).
  • The content for AwareEd training is robust and extensive. Many cybersecurity topics available for training material. As well as the ability to print promotional training sheets that can be displayed in break rooms, training rooms, hallways, etc.
  • The built-in phishing simulation templates are great! Recently, Infosec IQ added a new category called "Catch of the Week" that has very realistic phishing simulations that are much more effective and great examples of the types of phishing scams being used today.
  • Reporting works very well and provides information that can be shared with department managers so they can have visibility on how well their team members are meeting the cybersecurity training requirements.
  • When an employee leaves the company, I would like better visibility or a simpler process to remove that employee from the list of learners in Infosec IQ.
  • Some of the canned reports only apply to managers that have at least 10 team members. It would be nice if any size team would show up in the canned reporting.
  • I think it might be helpful to be able to create custom assessments for training sessions.
If the company is very small, the Infosec IQ solution might be a little overkill. However, for a medium to large company, I think Infosec IQ is a great tool for providing cybersecurity training, reporting, and assessment testing for all employees. Based on the information gathered during training, testing, etc., it allows the cybersecurity manager to focus on what employees need additional training or potential weak spots in the current training. This is important information to report to senior leadership. It also serves to meet cybersecurity awareness training that may be a compliance requirement for customer contracts, governmental standards, etc.

We use the product to test and educate users on cyber threats. This product helps us simulate phishing campaigns we use to help spread awareness throughout the agency without much hassle. With the simplicity of use, we were able to integrate InfoSec with AD, so adding and removing users is seamless.
  • I like the fact that InfoSec has great video options for educating users, whether you want to use a simple and quick refresher video or a deep detailed information video. The content library is great, also there are interactive videos.
  • The variety of information is great as well, you can create a variety of campaigns that are really easy to implement for users against multiple attacks.
  • Infosec has almost everything you need for new hires or even training for IT staff.
  • I am not the biggest fan of the way the emails are sent to users, like when they are enrolled into a training, when they click on the link it still doesn't seem legit. Maybe I haven't configured that part properly yet
  • Similar to the other point I made, the training interface for a non-technical user is lacking the usability feature that I think would make infosec more appealing
If your in an environment where there is no educational training for users regarding cyber threats, i think InfoSec is a great option to consider.

We currently use Infosec IQ at our school district to train staff on cyber security threats and awareness. We also use it to provide phishing simulations in our company email. This allows us to train the users on how to spot phishing emails and then test that the training is effective in reducing our rate of failure.
  • Easy Implementation
  • Great Customer Service
  • User-Friendly
  • Personalized training for users
Infosec is well suited for a school environments in which the teacher's time is most valuable to the students in the classroom. We did not want a program that was going to be so in-depth that the teachers would feel overwhelmed by having to complete the training. By having shorter training sessions the teachers can get the necessary training while not taking time away from the most important people in the school, the students. The phishing simulations are very similar in which if a teacher fails a simulation email the follow-up training is short, but is effective in showing the teacher what he or she could have done differently next time.

Our users will receive a phishing sim when they're least expecting it and with varying levels of obvious. They will get follow-up training if they click or congratulations if they mark it as phishing (using the PhishNotify button). Between phishing tests, users are able to manually mark phishing attempts (again, using the PhishNotify button) and it records the email and sends IT information on it. We can then review the email and train our users. It's a simple to use tool with great potential. Our users really have learned important lessons about Email security using this tool.
  • Educates the end users
  • Simple reporting tools
  • Great feedback to the IT team on who needs more help
  • Encourages slowing down and reading for phishing attempts
  • Reduces random clicking
  • When a user reports an email, it doesn't give IT a way to respond/release it when it's legit email.
  • It could be a little more intuitive on the administrative side (still really easy comparatively)
We had a third party email sender get compromised. About a dozen users who deal with this individual all got the exact same phishing email within 10 seconds of each other. Every single user knew from our test sims that this was suspicious (no CC's, no BCC's, etc.) and they all reported the email as phishing. This really makes a difference in our real world use, before our phishing sims at least one of those dozen would have likely clicked!

In my organization, we use Infosec IQ for annual HIPAA certification/recertification, which is a required component. Infosec IQ is a great tool for an organization, like ours, that requires everyone to participate in certain training sessions. Scheduling such training sessions is a very convenient feature, that Infosec IQ provides. Built-in reporting allows the IT department to stay up-to-date on the participation levels and act accordingly.
It's hard to tell where it's less appropriate to be applied. With all the security threats evolving every day, security awarness is no longer an option. It's something that needs to be done at any organization to keep the staff educated and prevent possible damages. Infosec IQ is a great tool for that.

We use Infosec to conduct phishing campains on our staff, it works pretty well for awareness and training. After two years of using it we have noticed an awareness of email traffic, and what to look for when potentially malicious emails come into thier email. The only thing that we are currently noticing an issues with is false positives on test emails that staff didn't click on anything in the email, it will show up that they took action and clicked on a link.
  • Realistic campaign emails
  • easy to set up
  • good reporting features
  • Sometimes users get flagged as opening links in emails when they didn't
In the educational world it has been very benificial to raise awareness of scam and phishing email traffic and what to look for in emails. It also has given us quantifiable data to use with our staff on how well we have raised their awareness of potential threats. The fact that it automates training for staff is a bonus.

We were looking for a simple solution to educate our employees. We have long known that human error and social engineering are the weak links in our security defenses. We are optimistic that through regular training our employees will better be able to spot compromise attempts. Infosec IQ seems to fit that bill.
  • Inform employees of things they may not know
  • Interesting training material
  • Easy to use
The onboarding team is very friendly and happy to explain how the platform works and guide you through the settings. Currently, we use Infosec IQ as a training tool to help with keeping our users on guard against phishing emails and other types of attacks. The training and testing are part of our overall cybersecurity awareness training. Engaging the users in regular training helps to keep them alert and up to date on what to watch for when reviewing emails or browsing the internet.
  • Video training is informative and fun.
  • Feedback on training is immediate via QA at the end.
  • Completion certificate is available for users to track progress.
  • More flexibility in reports
  • Working with quarantined queues allowing multiple deletes at one time
  • Flexible options to bring users who missed a campaign up to date
Since we are only using the awareness training, I can only speak to that option. I feel the training is well thought out and presented in a reasonable length of time so as to not lose the attention of the employee watching the video.

We have implemented Infosec IQ to train all our staff about staying safe while using a device at work. Management now feel safer in the knowledge that our staff have a better understanding of cybersecurity and the dangers in this online age. Having many businesses under our corporate umbrella, Infosec IQ is able to blend professionalism with fun to provide amazing informational videos.
  • The vast scale of training modules and information available is stagging
  • Well thought out user Interface
  • Simple to create templates and campaigns for training.
  • In depth dashboards and reporting
  • More localised content (this is getting better for our area. Australia)
  • Ability to upload our own video content
Feedback from staff has be positive, they get a quick break from their work and learn about something different. The vast scale of training modules and information available is stagging. This gives us the option to always change the training up between being professional and having a little more fun with the choose your own adventure interactive training. Upper management can use the dashboard to pull all kinds of statistics about the training and which staff aren't completing it. Groups can be configured so that if staff fail or don't complete a training course then are automatically enrolled in the next one. We have implemented Infosec IQ to provide annual security awareness training to all 4500+ employees in the County. Due to the flexibility of the product, departments within the County have been able to use Infosec IQ to distribute department-specific training (e.g., Safety training, product training) to their employees and the entire County.
  • Infosec IQ allows customers to easily synchronize with Active Directory to import users to the platform.
  • Infosec IQ provides customers with the ability to customize the training courses they want to provide to employees.
  • Infosec IQ permits customers to upload custom training modules to the platform to distribute as a course.
  • Infosec IQ provides several notification types (i.e., enrollment, start, finish, completion) to remind employees to start and complete their training.
  • Infosec IQ allows customers to import users to the platform directly in the console or by uploading a CSV file to the platform.
  • Infosec IQ could add additional filters on the campaign status screen so admins can focus on specific campaigns.
  • Infosec IQ could create ownership of campaigns, so other admins don't have the ability to delete campaigns they did not create.
Infosec IQ is well suited to provide security awareness training to small and large organizations. The ease of use of the products enables a small team with limited time to set up campaigns that require little interaction once started. If you have departments within your organization that want to distribute their own training, they can have a suborganization created within the platform. This allows them to manage their campaigns and not have access to yours. I have not encountered any scenarios where this platform has been less appropriate.
